The Southern Region offers support to local councils in all areas of administration.  Areas such as administrative reviews, membership, audits, registrars, bookkeeping training, SellWise installations, orientation support for new employees, and a host of other services are all supported by the office of administration.

Communication is the key element of support, and the region continues to find ways to communicate better with its local councils.  Regional publications, including the Spotlight, Southern Scouting, and Annual Report serve to communicate to the volunteers and professionals the important happenings in the Southern Region’s 93 councils.  Other publications, such as the Silver Antelope book, Finish Line, and the regional recognition book serve to spotlight those in the region who have performed above and beyond the call of their usual duties.

In addition, the Southern Region produces several multimedia presentations each year for use by the councils in meetings and other events. Recognition forms, regional publications, multimedia presentations, and other administrative tools are archived here for the use by our Scouting volunteers and professionals.
